Large, Modern, Ocean-view home with HOT TUB just steps to the beach!

Experience instant relaxation when setting foot into this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. This thoughtfully designed home has an open-plan with the living room, dining room, and kitchen all comprising one great room with a wall of windows looking out over the beautiful bay and ocean as well as a great view of Cape Lookout.
The kitchen is fully equipped for group cooking, and the dining area seats 10 (8 at a table, 2 more at a bar height counter). The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeps 10. The master bedroom has a king size bed and full bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed and the bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds with both having a pull out twin size bed underneath.
A private, covered hot tub awaits our guests on the back deck so it can be enjoyed during any kind of weather. The back deck also has a large outdoor dining table and a propane grill so this makes it another great space to gather around and spend time with your friends and family.
Beach access is less than a 5-minute walk away and you can feel confident walking to the beach down a paved, quiet neighborhood road.
Family Tides is designed to bring a family together as well as provide private spaces. The layout caters to the needs of large groups, yet is perfect for a weekend getaway. Expansive views of the ocean and beach make this home perfect for year-round gatherings. We canā€™t wait to host you!


** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee to cover the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

Great cozy house

Our hiking group had a wonderful stay. We loved the great dining room table to gather around. It was awesome to watch the sunset on the deck while having cocktails. The hot tub was clean and perfect after hiking. Would stay again.

Beautiful location

This home was a perfect rental for a girls weekend trip. The location is amazing, super close to the beach and the few Netarts restaurants. The beds are really comfortable and there are plenty of linens. Our only gripe would be the shower water pressure and temperature. Itā€™s non existent and could be warmer. But overall, not a deal breaker. We really enjoyed the home and all it had to offer.

Another great stay!

Great Friends Getaway

Our group of ā€œmatureā€ women had a great time at Happy Camp Hideaway. Our week there was pretty low-key and gave us a chance to relax and reconnect with one another while enjoying parts of the Oregon coast. The location was convenient for day trips north, south, or east. We opted to use the room with the Murphy bed and not use the bunk room and that worked well for our group. Everyone commented that the beds were very comfortable, and the house was well stocked with towels, shampoo, etc. The kitchen had plenty of cookware for our cooking needs. When viewing this property you might want to consider the amount of stairs needed to climb when thinking about luggage and groceries.

What a beautiful stay!

The home and our stay was fantastic! Wonderful location, beautiful views, clean living and sleeping areas, nice hot tub and grill. Our large family all thoroughly enjoyed every minute here! We accidentally got locked out once, but a quick call to Sarah and she had someone come by with a key to let us into the house. They were so kind and even brought little chocolates for us because we waited a couple minutes for them. I couldn't recommend this property enough šŸ¤—

Great View

Our family of nine was very comfortable in the house. Terrific view from the living room of the bay and ocean. Loved watching the pelicans swoop and dive for fish. Plenty for the kids to do with the beach a five minute walk away. Took excursions to the Oceanside beach and to the Tillamook Cheese factory. Fun time.

You won't be disappointed

Our group was six adults and two 7 year olds. We couldn't have been happier with the rental. It has everything you need and more. Sarah was wonderful. A TV wasn't working, so she came out within 30ish minutes of messaging her. She couldn't get it to work and ended up buying a new one... and installed it herself! Her customer service is top notch. If you are curious about the tp, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc situation... you really DON'T need to take any extra! The shampoo/con/bodywash were full sized, so leave yours at home! Kitchen was fully stocked (I did bring my own electric griddle). If you have kiddos, bring your own sand toys (I asked before our trip, so I knew to do so). The beds were great. Kids enjoyed their own space, in the bunkroom (only request, maybe some curtains in this room. Nobody needs the nonsense of kids waking up so early on vacation. Haha) Hot tub was also a hit for them. Be prepared for your legs to get a work out, especially while unloading all of your stuff to take up. If you have older family members or older fur babies who have arthritis or can't climb stairs well, this may not be the best rental for your group. That said, most homes in this area DO have a lot of stairs. We 1000% would rent this property again. Zero complaints from our group. If you're questioning renting this property...stop...just book it! (If you're disappointed with this property, I has nothing to do with the property itself...more like you are the type to find things to complain about. ::facts::) Ps: Sarah deserves a raise! šŸ˜‰

Fabulous weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Family Tides. Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids had plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Having 3 full bathrooms for the group was nice! The view is amazing; we watched the sunset from the balcony each night. The kitchen had everything we needed to make large meals for the big group, and the huge dining table was great for spreading out and playing games. The couch was very comfortable! We forgot a couple of personal items and the site host is holding them for us in their office until we can go back to retrieve them in a few days - so wonderful of them! All of the communication has been really great - friendly, fast and helpful. As other reviews mentioned - the dishwasher really doesn't work well. I would recommend saving yourself some time and just hand-wash the dishes. The sign does say to rinse before loading the dishwasher but even then we ended up having to re-wash dishes. Either the filter needs to be cleaned/replaced or perhaps the whole dishwasher. I don't mind handwashing dishes so that's a minor quibble. We had a fantastic time and hope to rent here again!

Family Tides in Netarts is the perfect home. We do a family trip to the beach every Thanksgiving and this is by far the best home we have rented. The property manager was so helpful with all questions and quick to respond. We were even informed on the day of our arrival that the house was cleaned and we could check in early if it fit our schedule. The hot tub is an added bonus. It is on covered deck which allowed us to use it even in the rain. With 4 bedrooms and a bonus room with a bed, it was more than enough room for 6 adults and 4 kids. Oh, the best part! The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes on a quiet level road. What could be better!

Great location & house, unfortunately it was not clean! The floors & kitchen were sticky and the upstairs smelled really bad. The dishes were put away dirty. We had to clean everything before we used it. The hot tub had sand in it, fortunately we called and someone came over to clean it. Really liked the house, just disappointed in the cleanliness...
