"Nicely furnished, maintained, and managed accommodation with a yummy breakfast!

It was a bit hot with no air conditioning and without much breeze blowing so, we tried to keep the windows opened … however, motorcycles and talking pedestrians outside were noisy rather late. "It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it."
"Best location for hotel in Southend.
Overall an excellent hotel , especially the family room is very good.
The receptionist stored our baggage so we can go out and wonder about as we got there before the 3pm Check-in time.
Also at check out time 12pm they stored our luggage in hotel so we can pick up later which was kind of them."
"I can’t think of anything negative aside from the lift that is very slow but it didn’t matter, I love taking the stairs. Service was great, place is immaculate, our server, Will, was very engaging and easy to get to pubs and restaurants as well.
Also, if you’re not driving, you can just walk from the train station. The walk is ten minutes but it will feel that you’re just walking in a park. Absolutely lovely!
I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again."

Alem do mais, minha reserva era de uma acomodação comum e para minha surpresa o atendente falou que me colocaria em um quarto executivo. Quanto a localização, é excelente para quem precisa do aeroporto de Southend, pois é ao lado do aeroporto."
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our over night stay. Room was exceptionally clean. The bed was enormous and so comfortable. Black out curtains were a bonus.
Everything was tip top.
Our service by all the staff was top class.
Our breakfast was terrific . We had our around 8.15 and it was relatively quiet. There was plenty on offer and all prepared well.
