This place was perfect for us, from the deck you can watch the horses graze and the calves frolic as the birds and bugs join in a chorus and your stress just melts away. It’s not a big place but it’s wonderfully laid out with all the basics you might need. And it had the best seating we’ve found in this size of vacation rental. "

"We had a relaxing time. Beautiful views of Union Lake from inside the home and deck. The house has everything you need for a good time. We rented a pontoon from Chris which allowed us to get on the water to swim instead of right off the dock. We enjoyed playing pool and kayaking. No major issues during the stay. "

"The cabin was as described! Very private and very cozy. The instructions to get there were very clear as well. The mattress seemed outdated and the window ac unit was right behind the bed but overall it was a great stay. Great price for the weekend!"

"Relaxing and quiet. No neighbors during the week. Puffy Lux mattress in master was very nice. The 2nd bedroom bed was too hard and no ceiling fan was a negative. Everything else was good. Pontoon boat rental is a must."

"This cottage has a lot to offer. It has everything you might need in a home away from home. From outside space to enjoy or the kids to play. To a game room and board games. My family, including young kids, greatly enjoyed our stay. "

"This home has it all. We never left the property for the 4 days we were there. Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, both upstairs and downstairs kitchens had everything you would need for cooking. The rental had plenty of spices and condiments for items that we forgot to bring. Access across all three levels of the home was easy, especially to access the lower level (you could drive to the lower level to unload or load). Plenty of parking. We can't say enough about the games and...

"It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though..."
