"The property in real life did not match what was seen on Expedia. The grounds are overgrown and not well maintained. The room was a fine size and the sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. However the room had an odd sort of dank smell and the air conditioner was questionable and very loud. Too loud to sleep with it on but the room would get hot in the afternoon sun without blinds to actually block any sun. There were spiderwebs up in the window which didn’t bother us but unsightly. ...

"The cute cabin was very clean and the description was accurate. Love that it was pet-friendly. Check in was easy and the detailed instructions for driving there were easy to follow. Nice walk up the (very quiet) road with gorgeous views, into the NP (closed to cars). It is quite remote so driving out and into the NP by the main gate takes about 30 minutes. Kitchenette was well equipped. The one thing we would have changed was more blankets on the bed - it was a thin coverlet and was not clear...

"My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. "This Casita is the perfect place to stay when visiting the parks! Sequoia is right around the corner! The host responded very quickly when we messaged about the WIFI being down. It was back up by the time we got back from the park. The river is a bonus, its so peaceful. The casita was clean, and had everything we needed. If we ever get a chance to go back, we know where we are staying! "

"nice new construction—ours was more of an intimate studio-type layout; large bed overlooked the living room with an electric fireplace/heater and TV—the kitchen was moderately stocked with enough cookware to meal prep (oil, honey, and spices came in handy); the Keurig coffee/tea was convenient; the owner was responsive on the vrbo app and text when we had a little power outage—it was close to town and a short direct drive into the park, and the grounds were very clean.
