This very clean and tidy 1 bedroom 1 bath with sleeping loft will accommodate 6 comfortably. 155` of sandy lake frontage on the largest chain of lakes in the world. Winterberry Cottage boasts a fully functional kitchen, fireplace, and large living space. Facing west to watch the iconic Northwoods sunsets while surrounding the firepit and cooking on the grill. With access to the Three Lakes Chain of Lakes you can kayak, canoe, or boat. Fish off the pier or head out onto Whitefish for walleye, musky, or a variety of panfish. Winterberry Cottage a very comfortable setting to unwind and leave all the stress behind. Winterberry Cottage is a Northern Lakes Vacation Homes LLC managed property.

A Perfect Getaway on Whitefish Lake!Our recent stay at the cabin on Whitefish Lake was absolutely delightful and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by how adorable and inviting the cabin was. It truly felt like a home away from home, offering all the cozy comforts and amenities we could possibly need.Packing for our trip was a breeze – all we had to remember were bath towels, food, and a readiness for fun! Everything else, from kitchen essentials to comfortable living spaces, was thoughtfully provided, making for a stress-free start to our vacation.The location on Whitefish Lake was simply fantastic. The lake itself was perfect for both swimming and fishing. We spent hours enjoying the lake and the peaceful surroundings.We highly recommend this charming cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable lakeside escape. We can't wait to return!

Cute little cottage

This is a cute little cottage that was just what we were looking for. The lake is very clean with little boat traffic during the first week of September. It was fun watching all the people fishing for muskies beating the water into foam as they casted over and over again. The dock extends out into a part of the lake that is built up into a sandbar. We didn't have swimsuits along but, with shorts on, we could walk out more than 30 feet off shore and still only have water up to our ankles. Fun! I think it would be hard to have a boat with a motor at the pier due to the shallowness of the lake at that point. (At the pier the water was knee deep). The cottage was clean comfortable. Even though the only television in the upstairs bedroom/loft is without an antennae there were many VHS tapes and DVD's available to watch. We had fun rewatching some of the old Disney classics like Snow White, Fantasia (2000), The Little Mermaid and 101 Dalmatians as well as Shrek the 3rd. Warning: if you're a larger person the bathroom may give you some issues. The shower is not very large but clean and functional. The toilet area is very tight and you may have to sit on it sideways and swivel into position (not much knee room before you touch the wall). The location was great, the drive in and out was very picturesque, and it was a very quiet and peaceful stay for us.

Nice Getaway

Nice clean, quaint cabin just steps from the shore. The central air-conditioning made our stay comfortable during the hot humid days. Not much boat traffic on the lake making it nice for fishing. The property manager was very helpful in making sure our stay was a positive experience!

Very helpful agent. Very clean and neat. Great place for 4 people and always refreshing to find a pet friendly location. Sandy beach was great to splash around in.

Great Getaway

We loved the property - very cozy, comfortable and close to the water. Easy access to water (dock is a little shallow) but sandbar out front was great for kid/dog to play.

The perfect place to relax and make memories

We had a great time at this cottage. It had literally everything you need to stay for a month! Bring a fishing boat if you have one to park at your own private dock and enjoy some great fishing! We caught perch, crappie, bluegill and a 19” smallmouth bass! Lake was quiet with few people on it so we felt extra safe pulling our small kids in a tube. The cottage has a nice shallow sandbar that our kids loved playing in and catching minnows. There’s lots of shade, but also plenty of sun. Campfire spot provided the perfect view in the evenings. Star gazing was also on point...so much to do!!! Book this cottage, you will not be disappointed!

Great Getaway!

This cabin was great! It is on a small quiet lake which made for a very relaxing week. The sunsets are beautiful. The swing and fire pit right by the water are great for watching the sunsets or just relaxing outside. Everything we need for our stay was supplied in the house. All we needed to bring were are clothes. : ) There were plenty of pillows, sheets, blankets, etc. There was also plenty of bug spray, which was definitely needed this time of year. We love to do our own cooking and there were plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. This cottage was amazing! We never wanted to leave! : )

Great little getaway place

If you want to getaway from fast-paced life and relax with your family - this is a place for you! We LOVED staying at the Winterberry Cottage. Although you have neighbors on three sides, their cabins are far enough and separated by woods to give you a feeling of absolute privacy. The cottage itself was very clean, cozy and well stocked. It had everything we needed: extra blankets and pillows, comfy lounge chairs, fun family games for a rainy afternoon, well stocked kitchen - whatever we needed, it was there. But the best part was outdoors. The cottage is surrounded by woods and sits right on the lake. The property has unique sandy beach that our three kids and dog loved. Fishing, canoeing, swimming, catching frogs and watching bold eagles soar, sitting by the fire and enjoin gorgeous sunsets - all was fun. The communication with property managers was very easy and pleasant. They were quick to get back to us, informative and very helpful. We loved our stay and hope to came back again.
