"Room was not good . Not as described on the website. Not even body wash topped upped in the washroom. Room was not good. The tv and appliances were old. No essential supplies "

"Bathroom was spotless. Room was a little sticky/dusty in the far corners but beds were clean and comfortable. Room was large with everything you need. Room had a view of the river, which was unexpected and a bonus. Breakfast was a good standard hotel breakfast (waffles, yoghurt, eggs, cereal, toast). Staff were very friendly. Location was convenient to downtown via car but probably easily walkable unless you have a mobility impairment. "

"Hotel is ok, fairly clean but dated and cheap finishes. Noisy next to highway. Continental breakfast was horrible, the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. Discusting cold scrambled eggs, yuck. "

"The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. There was a planned hydro outage during our stay due to local work being done in the area and staff handled it very well. Notifying each client as we walked in and explaining how the generators would keep one elevator working and there would still be hot breakfast available etc. The lobby area was great, offering late night service (beverages, snacks etc) and some game tables so we could enjoy a good old pool game. Free coffee...

"Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to."

"Clean suite. Great location. Enjoyed our stay, only couple things would have made it perfect. There’s no table and chairs to eat breakfast without enough seating in the common area for 4 and it was noisier than expected with the snow plows going by throughout the night. But otherwise we loved the suite "
