Loft 1 is situated by being tucked away in back away from the crowds & noise of Downtown Alexandria Bay & you can see the St. Lawrence river from the porch and if you walk just a little bit, you can sit on chairs by the river. The location was minutes away from Captain Thompson’s boat tours, restaurants & stores. No need to drive. Barbara NJ "

"The cottage is situated in a great spot. The water is easily accessible. The area was quiet and the weather was excellent. The cottage is well maintained and clean. We had a great vacation."

"We just loved staying at this very comfortable, private cottage in the woods on hole 19! Great communication, well organized, clean and cozy! We loved exploring the trails in the woods, visiting Boldt castle and other Boldt properties, fishing, pickleball, golfing, boating and kayaking. Would highly recommend! "

"The place was great! Location is was excellent, great sunrises and sunsets. Yes there's a marina bar downstairs, no it wasn't a problem, it was closed up by 8:30 each night and it was never rowdy. Whitney is a great host! There are definitely somethings that need a little work, but it wasn't a problem. One of the showers was out while we were there, but the other worked fine. Yes, the layout of the one shower is a little odd, but it works fine. It was very clean, there was no issues with...

"Many yrs ago I spent time in Alexandria bay and brought my grandchildren to the thousands island area to make fond memories for them. Words can't explain how disappointed I was with that area. Clayton was so beautiful and accommodating. This property was wonderful and very clean. When we return to Clayton we will stay here"

"The house was large and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The deck had a great view of the water and all the boats/ships coming and going. The kitchen was well stocked minus a couple things (no cheese grater/shredder or scissors) and we loved the 2 dishwashers which made cleanup so much easier! There were a lot of various oils and spices in the cabinets but definitely need to bring your own foil and cling wrap/plastic containers for leftovers.The host Richard was great and...

"Check in was a breeze. Our host George was easy to reach and communicate with. The house is roomy and comfortable. It is close to shops and Uncle Sam's boat tours in Alexandria Bay. The house is off a quiet, picturesque road making it a nice place to get away and relax. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely rent out the house again "

Its a short walk to downtown, you are right on the water to access your boat, and Carnagie marina is located directly across from the property, making parking your vehicle and boat trailer so easy and painless. "We had an amazing time at the house! Stunning view and great sunsets over the St. Lawrence. We kayaked in the protected bay and made it out to a couple of nearby islands. We took a tour of two island castles, jaunted over to Canada for the day, hiked in the Thousand Islands State Park, and swam at the sandy beach at Grass Point State Park (with shorty wetsuits). An amazing vacation to close out the summer! Nearby towns of Clayton and Alexandria Bay were cute as well."
