"We only stayed one night the downstairs was awful. Smelly settee old kettle and toaster, dirty mat by door. Cooker hob had cracks in every corner. The upstairs, bedroom was fine and bathroom, the outside needed a lot of updating. What a waste of money, we booked through Sykes cottages they obviously do not have regular checks on property at least they certainly did not with this one !!!"

"We absolutely loved our four night stay in Foxglove. We stayed in mid November with our terrier Murphy and used the hut as a base to explore Dorset. Its location made this easy to do and the accommodation itself was perfect for us. Brilliantly designed, it has all you need for a short stay. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower is a fabulous pressure and hot and the kitchen area, whilst compact, has everything. "Our stay was spoilt by the unpleasant verbal and aggressive attitude of our neighbours. Because we had it transpired, parked in their designated parking bay on our first day. We did receive the instructions for the correct parking space for our property until the following day. I would suggest the correct bay is marked clearly with the house number, so future guests don’t experience the same rudeness and verbal abuse we did."

"The Stable was as expected, the pictures represent the property perfectly. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and return. The Stable is on a site with quite a few other holiday lets, all qwerky and luxurious in their own right. "This was a lovely bolt hole in the country and an ideal location for visiting wonderful local landmarks. The cottage was well equipped and nicely presented with a welcoming box of biscuits on arrival. Very quiet with tranquil views. The owners were over the driveway and extremely friendly. Salisbury, Glastonbury, Sherborne and the like were within easy reach as was Poole on the coast. An ideal spot and perfect for that relaxing getaway."

"Really lovely cottage, it's a bit isolated but really this is also probably one its positives as you can disconnect and relax.The cottage is a very good size, the beds are big and comfy and the owner is very welcoming.Great for dog owners as there are gate on the stairs and a fenced garden if you want somewhere for your dog to relax.Would highly recommend"
