The holiday home was rebuilt in the old half-timbered style. It is furnished in country house style, has exclusively wooden ceilings with partially visible beam constructions and new, comfortable furnishings in a rustic atmosphere. Location: Very quiet, directly on the overgrown former Wiecheln mill pond, slightly off the village road. The holiday home "Landhaus" is located on a former agricultural estate, on which one of the first vineyards in Lower Saxony was built nearby. The vineyard has already been planted and covers an area of 1.4 hectares with over 6,500 vines. Holiday guests are offered the opportunity to learn about winegrowing on a small educational wine trail and can also take a guided tour of the vineyard on request.

You have the opportunity to go on heathland hikes in all the large heathland areas, the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve with the Wilseder Berg, probably the best-known area, the Südheide near Hermannsburg, the Nemitzer Heide near Lüchow and the most mysterious heathland area, the Breeser Bruch in the Göhrde.
- The historic salt town of Lüneburg lies on the Ilmenau at the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. It became famous and rich, particularly in the Middle Ages, due to its large deposits of salt. The pretty old town has been almost completely preserved and therefore radiates a special charm. The ARD television soap opera "Rote Rosen" has made Lüneburg even better known and more and more people are flocking to Lüneburg. The Hanseatic city has one of the highest pub densities in the whole of Germany, where you can enjoy a relaxed meal, simply have a coffee or go partying. In addition, Lüneburg invites you to go on a relaxed shopping spree with its specialist shops. Lüneburg is about 15 - 20 minutes away from our holiday homes.
- The Elbe is one of the longest and most famous rivers in Germany. For many years, the river was the border river of the inner-German border. Today, there are no longer many fences or watchtowers to indicate a former border, as nature has reclaimed this habitat. Today, the unique natural environment provides an important habitat for various protected animals. Many beautiful places such as Hitzacker or Bleckede invite you to visit along the Elbe riverside road.
- Wendland is a region in the eastern part of Lower Saxony and has become famous for the protests against nuclear power. In recent years, many people have once again travelled to this region to stop the Castor transports. In the meantime, Wendland with its unique round villages has become a popular meeting place for many different people. Every year in May/June, the "Kulturelle Landpartie" takes place in Wendland, where many craftsmen, drop-outs, travellers, musicians etc. exhibit or perform their work. The largest town in Wendland is Dannenberg, which is about half an hour away from our holiday homes.
