"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The only slight problem was the shower was very slow to drain away and at one point I was worried the water was going to go over the top of the shower tray. (But it didn't) We didn't cook in the apartment but it had everything you would need if you choose to. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine. It was very to town and easy to find and easy to check in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay...

"The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough "

"The kings room was beautiful and cozy. The space was great and clean. It was a bit freaky to get the key since it was a brick wall you had to go into but it ended up not going anywhere and just had a bunch of keys and also it’s closer to the train station than posted but honestly you can walk the city walls into the city centre which is only 10 mins away. "The walk from the car park to the flat was a bit longer than advertised. The WiFi in the flat was very slow (DDL). The water faucets in the bath/shower were a bit fiddly. The flat was very cold on arrival and took quite a while to warm up. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs - coffee, tea, espresso, milk, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher pods, washing machines pods. A bit of a surprise that the washing machine didn’t dry the clothes."
