We were a bit daunted at first by the dark interior and the debris on the deck (after a rain) and the soggy cushions out there. But as our eyes adjusted to the (lack of) light, we saw the two very nice bathrooms, ample towels, working dishwasher, three nice bedrooms/work spaces for the writers, the hot tub and the fast-moving waters of the Bighorn RIVER—especially lovely in the early morning with the mist rising from its surface.
The beds were comfortable, the stove worked (but not-working light under the microwave), refrigerator ample and had a working ice/water feature.
All in all, it became a cozy retreat for us, back from the main road and providing the bonus of a good hot tub.
