We truly do want everyone to have a great stay and are very sorry that Eric did not have one. The outside of the door should have had cobwebs removed before he arrived and we should have had the grass cut sooner. The exterior is exactly as shown in the pictures. The inside was sparking clean for their visit. The hardwood floors and cabinets are genuine Hickory installed 5 years ago when this unit was opened, as were the stainless steel appliances. We do not know what updates need to be done to make the property usable to Eric's standards. We sent Eric the correct wifi code twice before he ever entered the property, and again after he entered it. We are sorry he found an old card stock with the old password. There are a few nicer properties in town, but most are double or triple the nightly price of this unit. This is our first 2 star review and we are vary embarrassed by it. We averaged 4.9 out of 5 stars before this rating over 5 years of operation. This rating of course dropped it. My cleaner and I went the extra mile to try to help Eric find a lost medical device, only to later discover that it was still in his suitcase. We do want your business.

Sometimes you never know why one review is 5 star and the next is 3 star. I am very sorry you did not enjoy your accommodations. Please let us know what we can do to improve our performance for future guests.

This is the review for the day before this guest. "First impression when we walked in was CLEAN. So clean and nice and open. This was a perfect spot for our family of four. Plenty of room and on such a nice street. Thanks so much for letting us stay!" This house has never had a 3 star review before. To be fair the guest before them accidentally stepped on the curtain pulling the screw out of the drywall of the center brace. The curtain still hung OK. It was our fault for not having the curtain higher off the floor. We try really hard to give a good quality service for a fair price. Our cleaner has been with us nearly four years, and is excellent. The bathroom was a full remodel slightly over 4 years ago, the kitchen is a full remodel, there is brand new flooring, and it is furnished very tastefully. In fairness this house could use new windows, and the outside could use sprucing up, but it is an exceptional property. I am truly sorry if someone did not enjoy their stay, but the only properties even close to this quality are $300 to $500 a night more than this one. Please read the other 182 five star reviews before you let this review influence your opinion of us. By the way this house does not have a deck.
