"Lovely large rooms"

"Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast."

"Delightful small hotel in the countryside. Plenty of parking space. Tastefully decorated, quality fittings, clean and comfortable. Good restaurant with excellent food and service. Excellent place for a quiet holiday, or stopping place for a driving holiday through Somerset."

"Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima voor een overnachting. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn de matrassen vernieuwd. Dat wat wel nodig. De keuken was niet open zodat we naar een ander restaurant moesten uitwijken. Het groene licht was s’nachts irritant. Ontbijt was eenvoudig en goed."

"Very convenient location for the Royal Bath & West Showground. Owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was a little small but contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was great. Breakfast was also lovely. The room would benefit from a few cosmetic improvements but we would certainly stay here again."

"UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again."

"Lovely old pub with a real fire. This put a smile on my face as soon as I walked in. Friendly staff, good drinks options, nice food - breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size, clean and decorated well, giving it a nice character. I went for a quick run before dinner and dropped down into Pensford. This has a lovely old church and striking viaduct.
