"We loved how friendly all of the staff were in the hotel. The family who run the hotel clearly care very much about each and every guest and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are all lovely people who keep their hotel really clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. I really loved the dining room and pub decor and our breakfasts were served fresh and hot, so 10/10 for the breakfasts! "The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"It’s an old property with limited amenities. But it’s well kept and clean. Price is on higher side based on what they offer. Food at restaurants and breakfast are very good. So don’t go out for food if you are staying here."

"Good location. Clean rooms but says car parking which there was but had to pay £30 for 48 hours parking in public carpark"

"Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival."

"The staff and both mangers were great really friendly and helpful but the room number although clean killed my ocd with the telly on the leaning to one side wallpaper pealing respairs to the wall not even rubbed down and painted carpets need to go in a skip and the bed if I’m honest the food and the beer was outstanding as well as the staff so they made the break away not the room if your listening head office spend a few bob !!"

"Food was ok Room budget ok, Staff Reception lady ok, restuarant lady friendly and patient. Bar Staff surly not impressed. Booked through booking .com booked 2 rooms 1 double and 1 twin for £70 each Actually paid for 2 rooms £72 each and it was 2 doubles"
