super apartment
Very good location, quiet neighborhood, very central, lots of restaurants. The house just on the canal, very well furnished, with very nice taste. Marjan and Dino are very helpful,. Very nice experience. Than you!

Lovely stat in Den Haag

Enjoyable Experience!
Loved everything about the trip! You couldn't find a better location. Wonderful restaurants, shops,etc. The scenery was absolute beautiful, old world charm feel. And, the hosts were terrific!

Amazing apartment in perfect location
We stayed for 6 nights. The apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Did appreciate having access to a washer/dryer as we were finishing up a 3 week trip. Central to everything we needed. Our hosts were attentive and always available if needed. Checked in on us regularly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Den Haag. 2 thumbs up. 5 stars.

Unser eigentliches Ziel war Rotterdam, aber wir hatten dort keine so schöne Unterkunft wie die in Den Haag gefunden. Die aus einem Wohn/Ess- und einem Schlafzimmer nebst Bad bestehende Unterkunft befindet sich in einem typischen alten Gebäude an einer Gracht. Von der kaum befahrenen Straße aus betritt man den direkt den Wohnbereich, dessen eine Wandseite sehr stilvoll mit einer schwarzen Schrankwand verkleidet ist. Gegenüber steht ein Klavier, das dem Raum eine besondere Note verleiht. Schlafzimmer und Bad sind funktionell eingerichtet. Hervorragend ist die Lage der Wohnung. Am gegenüberliegenden Ufer befinden sich diverse Lokale, in denen man bei schönem Wetter unmittelbar an der Gracht sitzt. Zum Binnenhof, dem Mauritshuis und der Fußgängerzone mit Geschäften sind es zu Fuß 10-12 Minuten. Nahe liegt auch der Bahnhof Hollandspoor, von dem aus man Delft und Rotterdam in kurzer Zeit erreicht.

Lovely Canal view apartment!
The host, Marjan was not available when we arrived so her husband, Dino greeted us. Because we were arriving in The Hague early they graciously let us store our luggage in the apartment until we could move in. Dino was great and gave us a tour of the apartment. And recommendations of things to do in the neighborhood. We loved the apartment, so nicely furnished and decorated. Beautiful antique furnishings and a beautiful, comfortable bedroom! It had a small patio off the bedroom which was nice in the mornings. The location was fantastic with good restaurants right across the canal and a historic brewpub serving drinks on a floating canal boat! The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We both loved it and would definitely return!

Great flat and hosts
Very nice flat in an historie house close to the centre of The Hague. Very comfortable bed and well equiped appatment wit many nice restaurants and bars on the other side of the canal. Marjan and Dino are very good hosts and helped us to finde our way in the city. Strong recommendation!

Fantastic!
Lovely little place, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Dino and Marjan were perfect hosts. Communication was fab, Marjan replying very quickly to all my questions. Location is spot on, with the trams and central station with in very easy walking distance. (Note to future guest's, turn left when you come out on to the street from the main train/metro station). There are lots of places to eat, shopping and a short hop on the number 1 tram, will take you straight to the beach. You don't need to buy an ov chip card, you can simply use your own debit/credit card to tap on and off the trams (remember to definitely tap when you get off!) I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this place, so don't delay....book it today!

Great flat! Great location!
Visited for a week early May with my aging (70+) parents and needed a unit that didn’t have lots of stairs. The flat was in a great location: very easy walk to city center and museums and close to groceries and all the amenities. The location directly on the canal across from great restaurants and pubs was also a plus. We were able to hire a boat for a canal tour and bikes to rent were within a block. The Haag HS train station is within walking distance, and light rail is only a few blocks away. They also have nearby parking for a low cost which made it very easy to take day trips. The flat itself had everything we needed with great character! The listing said two bedrooms which was not accurate but the three of us made it work. There is one bedroom and a futon in the shared living/kitchen area. With the futon set up with a very comfortable mattress, there isn’t really usable living room space. I would say the flat is good for a couple, or couple with one or two children. It’s not really ideal for more than two adults. The owners were very receptive to communication before and during the trip. They made everything very easy. I would definitely recommend this unit to couples or young families looking to experience downtown canal life in Den Haag!

Perfect location, lovely apartment
We loved our stay here. It was so close to everything and a beautiful apartment. The listing said two bedrooms, but it's really a one bedroom with a (VERY comfortable) sofa bed in the living room. There is just a curtain between the living room and the bedroom in case noise/privacy is a concern for you. I highly recommend this host and apartment.

Cozy apartment in wonderful location
We were very pleased with our stay. The location could not be better, and Marjan and Dino were helpful and very prompt to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower is wonderful, there is a grocery store just around the corner, and while there was some street noise on weekend nights overall the apartment is very quiet. It was a great place to stay. This is an ideal apartment for a couple. For three people, there are some points about the layout that are worth considering. The third person sleeps on a fold-out bed right by the door onto the street, which means the living room isn't usable as a living room while that bed is made up. The shower and toilet can only be reached through the bedroom, so if the third person needs to get up in the night, s/he has to walk through the bedroom. And there's no door to the bedroom -- just a curtain between it and the kitchen, which lets through a lot of light if anyone wants to stay awake after the others. This arrangement worked just fine for us, traveling as family and used to being in close quarters with one another, but some people could find it off-putting. For us, however, the lay-out was only a minor inconvenience and we loved the apartment and loved our stay there!

Fantastic location
Right on a canal in a great part of Den Haag. My husband and I stayed here with our two children. We loved the location with its close proximity to many restaurants, stores and China town. The bathroom was lovely and the beds were comfortable. I really loved the little courtyard for a cozy place to sit outside and chat at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location in Den Haag
The property is in an excellent location, 10 minutes walk from the train station and about 20 from the city centre and the market. There are also some good restaurants nearby. The communication with the owner and the check-in and check-out process were very easy. The furnishing and kitchen equipment is more limited than in some properties we have stayed in, but perfectly good for a weeks stay for two.

Zwei Schlafzimmer sind nicht vorhanden.
Eigentlich eine schöne und gemütliche Wohnung im Zentrum von Den Haag. Allerdings gibt es keine zwei Schlafzimmer. Das zweite Doppelbett ist eine Schlafcouch in er Küche, die zugleich das Wohnzimmer ist. Leider war auch die Heizung nicht eingeschaltet, mit Ausnahme eines kleinen Infrarotstrahlers.

Charming hospitality
Wonderful stay in a great canal-side location. Marjan and Dino’s picturesque place has such a warm, cozy and eclectic vibe. They are friendly, kind and gracious hosts. Things we especially appreciated: luggage racks (two!), washer/dryer, extra bed pillows, fresh flowers, bottle of wine, slippers! We will remember our stay fondly.

Wohnung in bester Lage
Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und die Tage in Den Haag genossen. Die Wohnung bietete guten Komfort und ausreichend Platz für uns. Die Küche im Hauptraum mit dem Eingang zur Straße war gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr umsichtig, entgegenkommend und freundlich. Die Möglichkeit im Freien zu sitzen, ist eingeschränkt. Der Hof neben dem Schlafzimmer und Badbereich ist max. 2x2 m groß und nur nach oben offen.

Great in all respects
My wife and I went back to The Hague to walk down memory lane. We lived and worked there many years ago and had a wonderful experience. We spent the last 2.5 weeks there and it was great. Marjan and Dino were very helpful and responsive to our needs. Their apartment is clean, neat and well equipped. And it is perfectly located. There is an active restaurant and bar scene right across the canal and it is within walking distance from the Centrum. It is 1.5 blocks from a tram stop that can get you anywhere in The Hague greater area. We highly recommend this venue and look forward to going back.

Den Haag in toller Lage
Tolle Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. Direkt am Kanal und die Restaurants sind 2 min zu Fuß entfernt. Die City kann man ohne Probleme zu Fuß erreichen. Wir haben das Auto 10 Tage nicht benötigt. Der Vermieter bietet auch eine Garage unbedingt mit mieten sonst habe ich keine Ahnung wohin mit dem Auto. Wir fanden den kleinen Innhof in der Wohnung einfacher super. Mal eben ein Glas Wein … privat unter freiem Himmel ist schon Luxus. Danke an den Vermieter für die Tips.

Klassiek Verblijf
Klassieke vakantiewoning met veel sfeer. Liggend aan een gracht en alles ligt dichtbij. Vanaf deze plek kan je Den Haag zeer goed leren kennen!

Super location . Stunning , everything at hand , perfect apartment in every way. Very welcoming and lovely hosts who allowed us to enter property before check in time ((early morning flights )) Also budget friendly private parking added bonus if renting a motor. Great location, clean, inviting
We stayed for 4 nights while touring The Hague and Delft. Close to both train stations (10-15 minute walk), convenient to tram lines (we purchased the 3-day pass and used trams and buses frequently), grocery stores, and vibrant city center and Chinatown. Wonderful to have a kitchen for breakfast and light meal prep. Hosts Marjan and Dino were highly responsive and welcoming. We would love to stay there again if we travel back to the area.

Great hosts and location
Dino (Marjean’s husband) handled our early checkin. We stayed three nights. The location was perfect - we walked most places, and took the tram a few times. The Kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was the best VRBO shower we’ve ever had.

Great Location
We very much enjoyed our stay at Dino and Marjan’s canal house and appreciated their hospitality. The location was great! Lots of good restaurants and small bodega like shops nearby. It was also within walking distance of some main attractions (Mauritshuis, Escher museum) and a train station. The place was neat and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to stay again in the future.
