"Room and bathroom were clean however bathroom was in need of some refurbishment, also floor of shower was very slippery when wet. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was fine although would have liked a selection of fresh fruit."

If you're staying a night, its facilities are unusually generous and extensive; if you're eating, the menu and the food are great; and if you just want a drink, there's a bar area and plenty of seating outside. The staff are lovely. Plus there's plenty of local information, books, games and events, not to mention a farm shop. If you can tear yourself away, visit Wayland's Smithy a couple of miles away along the Ridgeway."

"This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees."

Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. Reservamos também a suite para três pessoas da familia, wue ficaram muito satisfeitos com o atendimento e o fato de ser ampla e muito funcional. O hotel é rico em detalhes e o café da manhã, soberbo. Recepção e serviço excelentes. Funcionários muito brm preparados. Destaque para alguns que nos atenderam mais e muito bem, Sonya e Joy. A localização do hotel é ótima, próximo a vários pontos turísticos. Com certeza, voltaremos...
