It was majestic getting to stay on Lisa and Shayā€™s beautiful farm and gardens. Our hosts were beyond helpful and shared all of their beautiful property (including the wonderful vegetable, fruits and eggs from the chickens). The kids enjoyed the pool table, air hockey and darts while my husband and I loved laying in the hammock outside with beautiful sunset views of mt hood. We would travel to this area just to stay here again. Absolutely heaven!

This was a beautiful property. I was a little worried at first about the location, but it worked out fine. It was quite and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing at the property as well as our sightseeing day trips.

I was absolutely blown away by this propertyā€”from the moment I arrived, it felt like something out of a dream. The views of Mt. Hood are truly spectacular, and the setting is peaceful and picture-perfect. Inside, the home was spotless and beautifully maintained. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like treats, snacks, and even a bottle of wine waiting for me. It was clear that every detail had been considered with care. I couldnā€™t have asked for a more relaxing, welcoming stay. Iā€™ll definitely be back!

Incredible property and helpful hosts. We are a group of besties/female cyclists (great gravel and road options from the location driveway is 9% and gravel!). Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Welcoming vibes galore! Lilac trees in full bloom, friendly chickens and a ginger kitty (none of these intrusive!). Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Donā€™t hesitate - book this one!! Itā€™s a winner!!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The home was beautiful and clean and had everything we could want. We loved the location! It was perfect for our anniversary retreat. Our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. We would stay here again. 10 stars!

The perfect place to have a getaway. The home was clean, well stocked, and included lovely touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The views and the area were everything we hoped for, and our hosts were quick to respond and very kind. We would definitely stay there again.

Our hosts were wonderful! They were easy to communicate with and had made the whole process as smooth as possible. Everything from the cleanliness to the hospitality was top notch. We will defenitly recomend staying here if you want to explore a different side of Oregon.

Lisa and Shay were amazing! The house was beautiful and we had a lot of space, along with incredible views. On top of it all they went above and beyond any expectations as we ran into a very difficult situation and storm at the tail end of our stay. I highly recommend this home and host to anyone. I cannot say enough about this experience. The property is amazing! Shay and Lisa are the best hosts period! They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Fantastic hosts. One of the best weeks of my life. We have made friends for life and cannot wait to return. A perfect 10.

Complete recharge and relaxation. From the moment we arrived at this hidden oasis nestled in between the golden, rolling hills with a perfect view of Mount Hood, we knew it was going to be extra difficult to pack up and leave after our stay. Were greeted by a handful of easy going chickens in the fenced garden area. Then stepped into our VRBO apartment , that is actually more like a beautifully built, furnished, small house with gorgeous views of the hills and mountain. Lisa and Shay had thoughtful touches everywhere to include a bowl of local cherries, snacks, chocolates, and even gifted us a bottle of wine. Before our arrival, Shay was super quick to respond to any questions I had. And even at the last minute, setup an iron and iron board for us to use so we could prep for a wedding we were attending. Perfect driving distance for us to surrounding areas to include Hood River. Both beds, all pillows and linens were super comfy, and we loved having access to a grill to cook out. Couldnā€™t help but spend every morning outside to enjoy our coffee. Thank you Lisa and Shay! Canā€™t wait for a return trip hopefully soon!

Shay and Lisa were such wonderful hosts. From the moment we got there, the suite felt more like home than a Vrbo. We were welcomed with a card, bottle of wine, treats, and a bowl of fresh cherries. The hosts created a booklet that contained information about the suite and the nearby towns that was so helpful. The place itself was beautiful for such a reasonable price. If youā€™re thinking about this Vrbo, do it, donā€™t wait! We stayed many places during our honeymoon and this was by far the best. Thank you!!

Frankly, this had to be one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. My wife and I were visiting my brother in The Dalles as part of a family reunion. His house was too full and the local Fairfield Inn (we are Marriott Bonvoy members) was very expensive. So we found this property just 15 minutes away up in the hills. The online photos and reviews were very good, but ā€¦ wowā€¦ the property was incredible. The one bedroom apartment was extremely clean, well appointed with everything we could need. The hosts even had a bottle of local wine and fresh cherries waiting for us. This will be our go to place on future visits!

Delightful two nights in this immaculate house. surrounded by rolling hills and quiet. Lisa and Shay are wonderful hosts and shared eggs, garden veggies, and kind connections with us. This is jewel of a getaway home. We will come back in different seasons to ride our bikes. Also, the nearby town of Dufur has the Azure grocery store with organic food and great coffee.

This was a magical place, a very peaceful place. The hosts are very accommodating and kind. The apartment is spacious, incredibly clean, very well appointed with amazing attention to detail by way of decor and the little things that many hosts don't think about. Very personable hosts. We want to return to this jewel, not only for the tranquility but to visit with these very special people. Thank you for making our anniversary getaway amazing!!!
