"This was our first trip to the Black Hills, and the Little Elk Cottage was the perfect setting for our trip. The cottage is adorable, very private and within reasonable driving times to the area’s attractions. The cottage was well equipped and well furnished. We had a very relaxing getaway, and would recommend the cottage to anyone visiting the Black Hills area. Herb M."

"Loved the property. Very nice way to relax after a day of driving. Geese & ducks are hatching their young on the river. Was cool to listen to them speak to each other. Unusual layout, but it works!! Beds were comfortable, furnace heating was amazing. The house behind the property made us uneasy, but we kept to ourselves. I think you should own more properties for rental if you can. God Bless. "We were disappointed to discover that the fitness center was not available since the property is under renovation. After a few contacts with the front desk we were told that we would be able to get into the fitness center, even though portions of it were being used as a store-room -- which was good, but the condition of the machines was horrible. I hope that the renovations will include replacing all of the equipment there. The room was okay - but not more - there were exceedingly few outlets...
