There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

"The city itself is a jewel. But the Swan is stuck in the past century, the furniture is old - not classy, the bathroom doesn't support hot baths or the fire alarm will go off. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The stair are beautiful, but the maze beyond it to get to the rooms are a trouble for baggage carriers."

"Great place to stay. In a great location for walking holiday and visiting local attractions. Place was kept in excellent condition. Lovely views of the hills and to watch the sun go down on a night. Nice bottle of wine left by the hosts for your arrival. Left to you own devices by the owners unless you had a problem. Would definitely stay again. "

"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. "Bridges B&B run by a lovely couple in a lovely house renting a lovely room had a lovely take away pizza delivered to the lovely local pub then back to my lovely room where I slept soundly in a lovely bed then a lovely shower and in the morning a lovely breakfast it was all just... lovely "
