We didn't get to stay as our VRBO account did not acknowledge that we had a reservation and we had no way to communicate with the host. We ended paying for a reservation we couldn't use. Both VRBO and the host were negligent in this and VRBO should issue us a full refund.

Suite is in the basement with no windows in the main living area and only small windows in each of the bedrooms. There was no thermostat in the suite so were dependent on the family upstates to regulate. The suite was very clean and the manager was very responsive to a couple issues we had. It is located just outside Jasper east gates but no real way to enjoy the scenery if a rainy or cold day.

Cedar Suite - Sept 5 to 7

We stayed for 2 nights. Everything in the apartment was as advertised. It is very close to the East Gate of Jasper National Park which was unfortunately closed during our stay due to wildfires. The host Amy was very helpful in addressing all our questions on what is open and what to see etc with all the closures. Since the family lives upstairs, we could hear the footsteps when they were walking about but they were very considerate to keep it quiet after 11PM. Would recommend this to others.

Family vacation. Great for what we needed. We werenā€™t there much because we were out most day light hiking/exploring. It is a basement. Windows were limited. Supplied well for most part. Fridge space is limited. We have 2 18+ yo kids and it was nice with extra room for them to have own areas.

Beautiful Folding Mountain

This basement suite was clean, comfortable for 2 couples and in a place that was easily accessible from Jasper. We enjoyed the short walk to Folding Mountain Brewery for dinner and beer. Highly recommend.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was clean and comfortable after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Even though it just has a kitchenette we found it to be very functional and the induction cooktop met our cooking needs. The area is beautiful and we also enjoyed a meal and craft beer at Folding Mountain Brewery which is within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here. Amy is an excellent host!

US invasion

Overall this was a great place to stayā€¦ some things to know: -the owners live upstairs (as described), and there will be some considerable noise at timesā€¦ -after showering there was a good amount of water on the bathroom floor, no matter how we adjusted the shower doorā€¦ -the hair dryer is melted on the end, but still functionalā€¦ -this was the squeakiest bed weā€™ve ever stayed on! We picked this place for the locationā€¦ I highly suggest you wake up early and take a drive to Cadomin, we saw 3 grizzly bears!

Cute little apartment - The Cedar suite

My husband and I spent 4 nights in the Cedar Suite outside of the east gate to Jasper National Park. The suite was well maintained and very comfortable, perfect for what we needed. We loved that the brewery was just a short walk down the road and hung out there most nights - great food and live music on friday. It is a basement suite but you have access to the patio so we were still able to enjoy the outdoors.

Dark and lacking essentials

I knew the unit would be a basement suite, but was surprised how dark it was. After checking in we realized we were only provided two towels for four people to use for four day/nights. The owner provided two additional towels upon request, but given the dampness in the unit there was no way to dry them so we needed more. The next day we realized we were only provided a quarter roll of toilet paper, again for four days. After requesting more we eventually got some. It was annoying to have to continually request essential basic items over and over given how much we were paying to stay here. Also the drive to Jasper activities is far. Again not surprised by this but if you can find something closer to Jasper I would recommend that and save the extra two hour commute each day.

A Good Spot for Sleeping

Clean and roomier overall than what we expected as there's a second living room (with a pullout bed) and TV. Bathroom is new and good water pressure (+ very hot water). Good WiFi, too. Bedrooms are small and mattresses a little soft. We didnt use the back deck but it looked great, as did the grill. A three-minute drive from a gem of a brew pub.

Really enjoyable stay

Rented the place for the weekend during the Jasper dark sky festival. Really enjoyed the cozy and charming decor and while the property is about 30min from Jasper it didnā€™t feel too far away. There is a brewery about a 10 minute walk away that has fantastic food and even better beer. Definitely recommend and I plan to come back frequently.

The property was better than described. Ownerā€™s did a fantastic job of turning their basement into a separate apartment. Clean and up to date. Our private deck overlooked the backyard which could use a little care but all in all the place was perfect for us.

So happy that we travelled there!

At the time of our booking there were forest fires in the area. The host was very understanding and flexible. In the end, we did go and we were so glad that we did. The scenery is incredibly beautiful and we saw wildlife on numerous occasions.

Cozy accommodations just outside of Jasper

Spent two nights in this cozy lower level apartment. Smaller kitchen but great patio/barbecue area. Host was very responsive to any of our needs. Comfortable bedding. Extra room if you had small children would be awesome.

The condo was clean, very convenient to everything we did. There should be more instructions about where to park because that took us a minimum of 30 minutes to figure out. Only because we asked a maid did we know what to do. The upstairs sink was stopped up so that wasnā€™t very pleasant. All and all, I would give it a good review.
