"It seems clear from the review of other guests that Village 1 does not meet expectations and it was no different for us. Unfortunately I had not read those reviews before booking. We paid for a place with a view which was in a mountain location and isolated location and we got a very old historic house right next to the city centre. The check-in was already confusing, the address on the reservation is a house and there someone received us saying that it is not there, and then they sent it to...

"The lodge was amazing. The rooms were huge and very very spacious, including the bathrooms. Extremely clean and the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable ones I’ve ever come across in a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and warm. Unfortunately they were shutting down for business and I was apparently the last guest to checkout! I wish they’d keep it running. I’d go back to the catskills just to stay there!"
