"Did not like checking in as there was no one anywhere around. I walked around to look for someone & eventually called out & someone appears. It was a bit unsettling traveling by myself to come to an empty, less than welcoming hotel. Minor detail, but like I said it was desolate. I was uncomfortable with the location as well as the hotel is next to a car lot. No restaurants near by or any amenities…had to find my way into Kingston at night to get a cup of coffee.
