"We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights as we met up up with relations who live in Bury St Edmunds. Staff here were friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean & shower was fine. We had food one night and it was nice enough. Place needed a bit of updating. We paid £65 a night for room only so I would say it wasn't expensive. "

"Ideally located for exploring East Anglia. Comfortable bed and very quiet so we slept really well. Shower was good too. Decor looking a bit tired and dated in places but would definately stay again. "
