Green Villa Gerês is a traditional vacation home located in the beautiful area of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The house was built in 2000 and reflects the traditional architecture of the area; the stone arches and wooden ceilings give this house plenty of charm and character.

The villa features 5 bedrooms and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and a microwave. Free private parking is available on-site.

Green Villa Gerês is a vacation home located about 6 km from the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in the Caniçada area of Terras do Bouro. Built in 2000, it was conceived and designed to provide moments of togetherness and family gatherings, both during the summer and the Christmas season.

As such, it is a home designed to welcome families, offering all the essential amenities so that everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—can enjoy a unique experience of relaxation, togetherness, leisure, and fun. Furthermore, the landscape and its unique setting—found only in the Serra do Gerês—enhance your connection with nature, whether through the lush greenery all around or the refreshing flow of the stream.

The property has a private parking lot for 4 cars and is equipped with free Wi-Fi, TV, bath towels, bed linens, and a crib (upon request).

Outside the house, you can enjoy the private garden, which features a small orchard, and have access to a private pool (available from June through October), as well as a variety of outdoor sports activities (water polo goals, volleyball net, table tennis, and a basketball hoop), which will be available during the summer (from June through October). Outside, there is also a porch with a barbecue area, a guest bathroom, and a small play area for children with a slide and a playhouse.

Inside, in addition to a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine (Delta Q capsules), toaster, kettle, and all kitchen utensils (plates, glasses, pots, cutlery, etc.); there is a living room with a fireplace and a comfortable dining room sized to accommodate the villa’s capacity. The house has 5 bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms (suites), and there is a third shared bathroom serving the other three bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed, another with two single beds, and a fifth bedroom with a single bed). Also inside the villa is a large basement with a pool table, a game table, and a second living room where you can spend time with family and friends.

We pay special attention to the cleanliness of all areas, and as such, we use products specifically identified and recommended for eliminating viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2. In addition, before entering the villa, you’ll find a disinfectant mat with an area for disinfecting your feet and another for wiping them clean. We also provide hand sanitizer for our guests to use whenever they wish to sanitize their hands.

How to get here: The Villa is located in the quiet parish of Valdosende, in the municipality of Terras do Bouro, about 30 minutes from the city of Braga in northern Portugal, and about an hour’s drive from the city of Porto. Therefore, the best way to reach us is by car.
