"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. "The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Map apps and a GPS do not recognize the exact location of the cottage. It took us a long time to find the cottage. Sykes Cottages list the cottage to have a washer (there...
