"We have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 years and have seen the transformation that has occurred over recent times. My sister and I stayed with our elderly mother for 5 nights. I have to say that the staff at this hotel are exceptional. So friendly, kind and hard working. The half board menu was delicious and couldn’t fault the food. The rooms are of a high quality and whilst there was no availability this time for a mobility access room we found the ground floor room perfect for mums...

"The hotel was a splendid surprise being a true manor in the style of a stately home with extensive grounds. We stayed in the Mews cottages which provided a large well equipped room and bathroom. "

"We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...

"Lovely hotel, not huge so personal feel. Absolutely spotless. Staff friendly and lovely pool. Very relaxing break. Worth noting there is no lift so had to use stairs. Not an issue for us but worth knowing if you do struggle with stairs so you can ask for an accessible room. Will stay there again."

"Property was brilliant but really needs a lift as having to do several trips up and down stairs with all belongings was a bit inconvenient as you have to leave your belongings unattended downstairs whilst you go back to collect the rest of your belongings "
