"Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hostel! Check-in und early Check-out war problemlos, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Hostelzimmer war immer sauber, ausreichend groß und schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war gemütlich und schön groß; der Balkon etwas klein, aber besser als gar keiner und mit einer schönen Aussicht. Es war nur eine Nacht lauter im Flur/Nebenzimmer, was jedoch zu verkraften war. Essen hatten wir nicht dazugebucht, das einzige Nervige war, dass der Fernseher sich nicht...

"Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent hotel situation for me once located. Hotel and room very clean, loved the room and balcony. However I found the mattress uncomfortable as were the meager pillows. The forwarded information , how to access keys were incorrect and had to wait for the establishment to forward correct info whilst standing around outside, that was stressful. Eventually once I settled in my stay was on the whole really enjoyable ."

"For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony "
