"Had a wonderful stay at Lovesgrove, the room was large with a lovely bathroom and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly. 5 stars *****. Highly recommend "
"This beautiful old hotel has been kept in excellent condition with tasteful modernizations. Shower was super with lovely fluffy towels! Beautiful countryside setting.

"The hotel staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was great! My room was just right for what I needed, small and comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have new fixtures and was really nice and clean. There was a bit of noise from some troubled people across the street for a bit, but that is nothing the Glendower could control and resolved so I could have a restful sleep. Breakfast was also just right."
"Good bed, good sized shower, good breeze through the window. The breakfast hours are too early nd too short, and you apparently have to reserve a table for dinner, but they do room service and it was quick and delicious. They desperately need WiFi extenders."
"Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. Beach wraps available to use and a parking permit for the beach so it was free to park. Breakfast was huge and could be afapted as you liked it. "Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included and was scrummy.
Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

"Room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable & with lovely soft pillows.
Towels were soft with a very pleasant smell that filled the bathroom. Only small complaints was the lack of Decaffeinated coffee & tea sachets, which you now expect in most establishments. Also the small TV was stuck in the corner of the room, but this only a minor problem.
The staff were pleasant & chatty & the breakfast was very nice.
This is a very nice guesthouse in a nice area, with several self-catering cottages...
"Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. Room was beautiful and spotlessly clean in such a peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, filled me for the day, my Partner had Welsh Rarebit which she said was stunning. Looking at returning again next year, we won't leave it another near decade until next time, 10/10! "
"Having red previous reviews, I was a little concerned about my stay. But I’m not too sure where these previous reviewer stayed, but my day was amazing.
The room was amazing, Wallroom, very spacious very modern very well decorated. In the courtyard on the ground floor so access to some outdoor seating.
