"Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!"

"Great cabin, clean, plenty of space for a family of 6. Had all the amenities that make this a “home away from home”. As others have stated in their reviews, the cabin is in a remote location, high up a mountain and you need to travel up a steep and windy road to get there. I would not recommend driving on this road when it is dark. Highly recommend it and would stay here again. "

"Wonderful stay! We enjoyed walking our dog by the river and on the well maintained grounds. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the river from the balcony each morning with coffee. The Laurel cabin was cozy with everything needed to feel like home away from home. "

"The house is older but it is located in nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. It had everything we needed. There were lots of kind extras that were not expected, but definitely appreciated. We were not in the house very much because we were at an event at the lake; however, we were able to rest a bit each evening before bedtime and utilized some of the games and living area. It was very comfy. The house was easy to find with a level driveway and carport. The owner was quick to respond to questions...

"The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! "

"The VIEW! From the moment we walked in the door until the time we left, our stay here was fabulous. The kitchen has all modern, high quality appliances, with everything you could need. The home was decorated with an on point trout theme, and was so clean! It’s obvious the owners take pride in providing a top-notch place to stay. And did I mention the VIEW??!"

"The house was incredible and had everything we needed for our family of 5 plus two pups. The view from the deck was stunning and great to drink coffee on in the morning and sip bourbon on at night. Kids had a blast in the game room, even though they couldn’t beat me in shuffleboard! Mike and Rachel were fantastic hosts with great communication. Would highly recommend this house for your next trip. And if you do go would also recommend tubing down the French Brd River at Mad Co Tubing. Our kiddos...

"Our stay at the Wright Place was amazing! I cant say enough about our stay! Doug and Lynn was so nice, accommodating, and very thoughtful! It was both my husband and my birthdays and they had us a birthday gift with a birthday card! Just unheard of anymore, especially when we have never met until our visit! Like i said, i cant say enough or better still, i could write a letter about how accommodating they were to us and it would take too long, so all i want to finish saying is....we met new...
