"The staff are the stars in this Hotel. Every one of them was pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had on one of our frequent overnight stopovers when we make our regular trips from down South to up North. It’s our first time at this hotel but the breakfast really excels in comparison to other hotels in the locality."

"Excellent service from check in to check out, rooms were big, rooms were serviced everyday and althoigh i didn't have dinner at the hotel the breakfast was excellent. Managed to use the gym, pool and steam room whilst staying at the hotel. When staying in Telford again i will make sure i book again at the Mercure. Very close to shops, restaurants and even a cinema across the road!"

I always look for a pool and looking at some of the reviews this was a bit of a gamble, however it definitely paid off ! Yes, the hotel is a little dated and could do with some investment, however, it was clean, the suite size was very good and the price was great value. The pool was pretty awesome.
