"Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!"

"Great position, we managed to park outside near the Travelodge before walking to the hotel. Very friendly welcome. We booked the small room which was very nice, queen size bed, safe in the room, free bottled water, kettle and lavazza coffee machine. Great shower, heated up very quickly, quality shower gel, shampoo conditioner and hand lotion. Free hot drinks in the lounge via machine. Free cookies after 4pm! After our meal out, we came back for a coffee and a hot chocolate. Free films...

"Me and my son came for a little break room was lovely very clean and spacious the staff was really friendly could not do enough for lovely food very approachable and it is in a good location near railway station and shop and beach"

"Beautiful but compact room.We stayed in the small double as it was the only one left available when we booked, but perfect for a nights stay. The room had everything you would need and more including dressing gowns and a fan for warmer nights The breakfast was one of the best that we've had in a long time. The scrambled egg and smoked salmon was exceptional. We will definitely be back but would look at a Seaview room and a few more nights."

"Room was not cleaned on 2 days, breakfast quality was good but service disorganised, was 1st into Breakfast last to be served. Another room was broken into in middle of night, police also had to attend following night. This was my third staying at the Waves, last 2 years excellent but this year was very poor, have cancelled booking for next year. Two other couples who have been staying each year also not booking for next year. A real shame the change from last year "

"O B&B é bem localizado. Pode-se ir a pé a todos os pontos turísticos da cidade, localizados a no máximo 20 min de caminhada. Fica ainda ao lado da rua de compras mais próxima, caso precise de algo, não chega a ser um problema."

We chose Palm Court because of its location and its residents car park, this is a covered car park a just round the corner from the main entrance. Check in was quick and simple. "I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. "The best part of this hotel is the sea view (at least from my room), a good bed and a good breakfast. All the rest such as furniture, carpets, walls and doors painting in the corridors and inside the room are very damaged by time and lack of maintenance. The cleanliness was very bad, I found a lot of long hair on the carpet, which was not mine (I have short hair) - throughout my stay there.
