"Fantastic holiday, indoor spa pool was great with the kids. Views are 2nd to none, sat quietly in the evening listening to the water is relaxing. Location is central to all around and the train takes you everywhere you wouod eant to go. Only 5mins walk away. Highly recomended."

"We enjoyed a lovely week in this beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. The cottage is well situated for all the amenities Brixham has to offer and although there is no parking with the property, there are plenty of places available within a ten minute walk. Hope to revisit soon."

"Lovely house, large enough for the 6 of us, although it can sleep more I wouldn’t have wanted to share with anymore than that. Steve was very helpful, no issues apart from maybe check crockery pans etc as there were a lot that needed cleaning before they could be used. Thanks for everything."

"This was the second time we have stayed at Acorn Cottage and it was just as good as the first. A lovely cottage in a very peaceful village with good access to the local area. The pub in the village (100m walk) serves excellent food and is very cosy. As to the cottage, it has a lovely "cottage feel" to it, very clean and very well equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we would thoroughly recommend it as the perfect place to stay to explore the area."

"I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. The room was clean and comfortable with sufficient tea and coffee everything I needed after such a long day. Thanks so much ☺️"

"The house was fabulous , spacious and clean. The beds were already made up and there were plenty of towels .This was a nice surprise as we read that we had to take our own .The lower stairs aren't suitable for toddlers or people with poor mobility ..Paul the owner was easy to contact .The views are spectacular spectacularspectaculaspvery easysuit"

"The cottage has everything you need for a lovely stay. Very well equipped kitchen, fantastic walk in shower, amazing location and no trouble parking. We parked around the green when we first got there and although we then didn't use the car saw plenty of spaces appear throughout our stay. The village has some lovely pubs particularly The London Inn opposite the cottage, cafes particularly The Clipper and shops and if you want a peaceful and laid back break. Thank you"

"We stayed here for a week with our 3 children, their parners and 4 grand children, making a party of 12. The house was amazing, from a very well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and relaxing seating areas, all beautifully decorated.There was a large garden, (athough the little ones needed supervision as there are two large ponds), and a lovely courtyard seating area. A very well stocked under stairs cupboard with windbreak, chairs, parasol etc for the beach.Also games,and a pool/table tennis...
