"great location on the edge of Oakham, easy walking to shops, cafes, pubs etc. Road parking was fine but the road is quite narrow with cars parked up both sides. lots of outdoor activities at Rutland water. Only 20 minute drive from the historic town of Stamford.plenty of hot water and house lovely and warm."

"We had a fantastic holiday in The Stables. It is very stylish and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We really appreciated Natalie and Dan catering for my wife’s food intolerances. Our cocker spaniel was also extremely well catered for with treats and toys. The mud wash with hot and cold water was really useful after walks in the countryside. The Stables is in an idyllic setting with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. "Nice room, with excellent bathroom. The outside needs tidying up and some painting, so we were initially concerned when we arrived, but the rooms were fine. Nice quiet location too. The cafe is shut due to staff illness, looks like has been for a while but the Two Flags cafe a mile down the road is excellent for all day breakfasts, especially if you like motorbikes."

"Lovely cottage, well equipped, very quiet, peaceful rural setting (apart from the sheep!) . Very comfortable beds, accommodation generally, with Launde Abbey an easy walk away, and quiet lane access to Oakham, Rutland Water and Uppingham. A delightful, restful setting and excellent facilities with welcome pack on arrival. Lovely weather a bonus! "
