"Amazing Hotel, wonderful service. Amazing food when I separately booked Chaloner’s restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. No complaints. Maybe I’s stay in the wing next time as it’s so close. But it was wonderful to have all that extra space in a room in the old hall. Would 100% come again. "

"I give a 3 star rating in the facility area as the beds and pillows fealt like I was sleeping on building site materials. The bed was solid like what I’d imagine sleeping on a concrete block would be like and the pillows were like sand bags. So uncomfortable I hardly slept but that aside I couldn’t fault the place otherwise"

"Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area. "

"We came to stay cos of a family emergency and booked late in the afternoon arriving late that night at about 22:45. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, the receptionist booking us in was very kind and polite and walked us to our room ensure we could use the door codes and knew where we where going, the staff regularly checked in on us to insure there where no issues with our stay, breakfast was included and staff where very attentive making sure we had all we needed. "Lovely little hotel, few issues with my hotel.com booking and the reception tried to make me pay again as they haven’t heard of Hotels.com but after a 20 min discussion and a call to hotel.com (who eventually sent an email to confirm) it was all ok. Made me late for a really important meeting so was quite stressful however the man on reception gave me a coffee for my trouble. "
