"We opted not to stay. When parking in the car park we noticed that houses surrounding the property had been boarded up and had some graffiti and the pub property was surrounded by barbed wire fencing. I understand from the hotel staff that they have had a problem with cars being broken into overnight and were introducing security patrols with dogs to help minimise issues with cars. Not a great start.

"Stayed for one night for work. The general hotel is nice as was the breakfast and the gym facilities. Staff were helpful at check in and out. The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. I over looked the middle of the hotel so it was noisy at night. Has a lot of potential with a bit of a refresh."

The staff are great but the building itself is a health risk, with holes hidden in the floor underneath the carpet.
I went over in one and twisted my ankle .
