"My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches. "This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay."

"Had a fantastic stay. The home was warm and dry, and well equipped with all the kitchen stuff, comfortable beds, and plenty of space inside and outside. Great stay!"

"The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! "From the moment we drove in Kawhia bay and stepped onto the balcony we were in heavon! The Bach had everything we needed, we were able to bbq every night, the kitchen was well equipped, large fridge to stock our food and drinks (note there are no local shops so you need to bring what you need - closet general store is 15 min drive).
