"Hubby and I loved our stay in this rustic cabin. It is above the water with unobstructed views. We saw a LOT of birds during our stay. There were many Osprey flying around and catching their breakfasts/dinners right in front of us! There were bald eagles in the neighbors tree. Brett is very helpful and nice. The cabin is well supplied with nearly everything - TV, binoculars, telescope, beach chairs, as well as the essentials like Kleenex, paper towels, TP, etc. I recommend bringing your own...

"We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!"

"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. "The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...

"We had the perfect stay in this quiet, shaded home with our twin kiddos. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen (important for food allergy parents when traveling!), books and games, a desk in a loft area for working, and morning and evening visits from the local deer. Our host was super responsive whenever we reached out. We didn't make it to the beaches due to weather, but hope to stay again for our family's annual crab fest in the Solomons again next year :) Thank you!"

"What a spectacular home!! We all loved our stay and took advantage of the beautiful heated pool, dock, fire pit and playground.
