"Potato island was absolutely perfect for our family, and we had a fun, relaxing week long stay. The cottage is older..rustic but very clean and had everything needed for prepping food. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and we felt so mentally refreshed. The kids swam every day rain or shine, we went canoeing, read books, sat around the camp fire, played games, and the dogs had a blast running around the island. As an owner of three small dogs, this was a huge stress...

"Just loved it very much host was excellent very accommodating was had great use of the paddle boat kayaks canoe was lovely lil place bunkie on the water was a great sleep was very comfy cottagy lots of dock space to fish and sit have coffee right on the lake was is a very beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our stay of clamping for the first time was really fun. Thanks so much to the host for letting us use the property was fantastic."

I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. "We loved our 3 days and 4 nights at The Dance Hall. The wood burning stove was enjoyed and appreciated as the weather was quite cool and wet. We loved listening and watching the loons, geese and herons from the dock. We did some paddling in the kayaks provided around islands not too far from shore. The cottage is filled with interesting antiques, cookbooks, a record player and records. We would love to come again. "
