This was really loud as the children were running around and all we could hear was thumping. We requested a room change and this happened almost immediately which was appreciated. "Alona Pawikan is highly recommended. The huts are comfortable and great for its price point. There's a refrigerator, WiFi, TV with Netflix, and free coffee and tea. The staff is very helpful and would gladly assist you in booking a motorcycle or a car. Great location too, just a short walk to Alona beach. There's also a nice restaurant beside it. "We had a fantastic stay. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our month in the Philippines. The hotel has been completely renovated and only opened in November 2025. Everything is new and beautifully designed. The staff are all incredibly attentive and make sure you have an amazing stay. Since it is new, there are still a few minor points that could be improved, but nothing significant. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful located in a more jungle environment with a restaurant facing the loboc river. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. We had a pregnant woman in our group and the chef and servers were happy to adjust their menu for her. We found that really nice of them. They offer guided stand up paddle on the loboc river which we did and both the guide and the waterfall didn’t fall short....

"Hot showers and great food and staff. Alona beach was just over the beach walk and not really suitable to hang out on. Had to walk up towards the end for the sand. Just a 10 min tok tok ride to Dumaluan Beach where you can use the amenities and hang out on a gorgeous beach at the Oceanica. Highly recommend doing this. El at guest services was so helpful arranging a private driver to go see the chocolate hills, man made forest, Tarziers, bamboo bridge and the bee Farm resort. Would recommend this...
