Charming country-style villa with heated pool, garden and ocean-view. Romantic rural retreat with magnificent views of the tranquil countryside - a perfect place to unwind.

The house is surrounded by unspoilt nature, but only a 5-minute drive away from the picturesque village of Tavira with numerous restaurants and attractions. Various beaches can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes and offer a lot of variety.

The cottage has 2 double bedrooms, 2 newly renovated bathrooms, open-plan living area with wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

There are many windows making the rooms bright and friendly. A small chamber upstairs with desk and wicker chairs offers a wide panoramic view over the landscape. To welcome the morning sun from here is a wonderful start to the day.

Outside there are 4 different terraces - 2 with view of the sunset, 1 with sea-view - barbecue and heated pool.

The variety of spots around the house combined with the surrounding nature, wonderful views and tranquility make this a very special and charming place.

The house has air conditioning for heating and cooling. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets.

Due to the existing heating system and the lovely open fireplace in the living room the house is ideal also in the beautiful winter months.

Fast Wi-Fi is free and unlimited (very rare in the region).

The property has its own photovoltaic system and is therefore CO2-neutral.

Pool heating with twelve kilowatts allows the water to be heated by about 10 °C - ideal especially in autumn, winter and spring.

Satellite TV (UK, Germany, Portugal).

House and the pool are cleaned once a week. Linen and towels are changed weekly as well.

The property has a parking space directly in front of the house.

Tavira is only a few minutes away by car. The city has a historic centre with many pretty alleys and squares, small shops, restaurants and cafes, an old castle complex with park, various museums, a market hall, many churches and a camera obscura. In the warmer months fado performances and open-air concerts take place regularly.

Beautiful beaches in the area include Praia do Barril (15 minutes by car), Praia de Cabanas (20 minutes by car), Praia Verde (20 minutes by car) and the Ilha de Tavira (accessible from Tavira by ferry). Differing in waves, seclusion and style of the beach clubs they offer a lot of variety.

There are many wonderful restaurants in Tavira and the immediate vicinity - most of them with excellent value for money. Here you can sit in a cozy atmosphere and enjoy your stay with local specialties, fresh fish or tapas. The next restaurant is only a five-minute drive away.

Supermarkets are about five kilometers away (8 minutes by car). Faro Airport is about a 30-minute drive away.

Also excursions to surrounding places such as Loulé, Olháo, Faro or Villa Real de Santo Antonio or across the border to Spain (30 minutes by car) are highly recommended.

Golfing, horse riding, cycling or hiking are just some of the many possible activities in the region.

The house can be reached from Faro Airport by rental car in half an hour.

In principle, the site can only be booked on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. In the winter months, different times are also possible on request. Special conditions for bookings of over four weeks on request.

Check-in from 3:00 pm. Check-out by 10:00 a.m.

50 € fee for final cleaning. For stays of several weeks, there is a weekly exchange of bed linen and towels, as well as a refresher cleaning.

With regard to small children, we would like to point out that the house has an open, unfenced pool area.

No pets.

Smoking is not allowed in the property.

Renting a car is recommended.
