We are situated in a quiet rural setting only 3 minutes from the outer edge of town and restaurants, cafe and superette. You will enjoy a private, quiet, spacious studio suited for 2, private courtyard and outdoor fire pit, mature trees adorned with native birds adding to relaxing ambience, and a stunning sunset deck. If you're brave enough take a dip in our cold saltwater swimming pool.

About our accommodation...On arrival you drive under a tree lined driveway to your private stand alone studio, located near hosts residence, but given all privacy and space to guests. You have private access to come and go as you please with spacious & secure parking directly in front for car, boat, trailer, bikes etc. We offer comfortable, clean, modern accommodation that provides all the luxuries of a home away from home, with many special touches to surprise and delight our guests. From the time you arrive to the time you leave we want our guests to have the most memorable stay and the yearning to return for more

Inside you will find modern interiors in a spacious studio set up with brand new appliances, from a new coffee machine to the soft spa sized towels and bathrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook with a bench top oven, hobs, slow cooker, microwave and a full sized fridge/freezer and an outdoor bbq. Alternatively we can certainly recommend some great restaurants, cafes or takeaways within a 2 minute drive

Relax on the leather sofa while watching Netflix on our 55" smart tv or make use of the unlimited internet and get a bit of work done (we have an office chair available for added comfort to use at the table in the studio). The queen size bed is made ready for your arrival with clean quality linen, extra pillows, electric blanket. In the bathroom are extra large spa sized bath towels, soaps & toiletries plus soft bathrobes to enjoy after a shower. The studio has air conditioning which will keep an ambient temperature regardless of summer or winter conditions.

At the rear of the studio you can enjoy your very own private, sunny tropical garden & courtyard area with a small outdoor fire and seating for 2. Our guests are welcome to use the saltwater pool available during summer months (shared with your hosts but all privacy given). We have a picturesque sunset deck with comfortable chairs overlooking rural valley views and stunning sunsets. We have a picnic basket and blanket in the studio for those that wish to add that extra special touch to their sunset viewing or trip to the beautiful Mount Maunganui beaches.

We do not provide breakfast but have some flavoursome cafes within a 10 min drive. We often have guests staying who are celebrating special occasions so if you would like anything extra set up for your stay please feel free to ask.

Please note we are a rural property where on the very rare occasion you might experience rural farming odours while outdoors.

Attending Toi Ohomai or the University of Waikato for study? We are a 10 minute drive from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and 15 minutes for the Waikato of University campus in Central Tauranga.

If you are looking at wedding venues we are a short drive to The Orchard, Ataahua Garden Venue and Phoenix Valley. With many more amazing venues around Tauranga. Uber and Taxi services will pickup/drop off from our gateway.

We are right on the doorstep, so to speak, of the Oropi bike track 100 metres up the road from us (currently closed until 2026 for tree clearing and track upgrades). The Tect park is 18 minutes drive away also offering a variety of outdoor sports such as motorcross, 4x4 driving tracks, adrenaline rope climbing challenges, remote control car club, mountain biking tracks, horse trekking, and bush walks. Alternatively Rotorua offers a vast variety of graded mountain biking trails, all within a 45 min drive from us, very popular with tourists and locals alike.
