However, there are three points that I must highlight: 1) There is a fitness center just beside the hotel and, when people train there and lift weights, you get the feeling that someone is demolishing a building because the people in the fitness studio don't put the weights back slowly as it should be during a training, they simply let them fall down! "It's a great property with a great view, the food is expensive so I would recommend to opt for a Half Board meal plan. The food is tasy and staff is polite, helpful and hardworking. The Ropeway to McLeodganj is about 10km away only. It's a quiet property with great rooms. If you go for balcony make sure avoid ground floor as balcony is better if not on the ground floor. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!"

"This a nice resort to stay in Dharamshala. Surroundings are nice and quite. Resort have spacious rooms with all amenities. Food was also good. Good bar and nice lawn to spend quality time with family. Speciality is having swimming pool in the resort. I spent good time here with my family."

"We, as a family, had wonderful experiences at this Hotel. Checkin was smooth. Food was awesome. View from the room were breathtaking, beautiful! It rained overnight very heavily and experienced a water leak in some areas, but Hotel staff was very prompt in responding to the situation. Checkout had a glitch with International credit cards, but managed with UPI payment options. One word of caution though, this place is not for the faint hearted people, its very stiff climb up the stairs to top...

"Wonderful Tibetan hotel, a treasure in so many ways. Lovely people, lovely place and a lovely location. Minutes to the Dalai Lama Temple, the Kora circuit and the markets. The place itself is beautiful and a paradise away from the hub bub of taxi stalls, markets and the energy of the city. The Hummingbird Cafe was delicious!
