"Excellent hotel overall, but the restaurant menu let's them down, they are a bit chips with everything, and let's have a curry shall we! The bar also needs to expand the ranges of beers and lagers on offer, not enough choice. The outside lighting needs to work, as we passed it both on arrival and when we returned from finding a decent dinner in Ollerton, and there is an enormous pothole in the entrance way, I drive a 4x4 so it can cope, but a small car could do suspension and tyre damage in...

"A hidden gem. Staff make the difference with their welcoming arrival and food was lovingly prepared catering for vegetarian and pescatarian. The room was super cosy clean and catered for all essentials a cup of tea or coffee is much needed. Everything was lovely thank you to all the staff every one of you are an asset to the hotel and pub. We will visit again. "

"We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the area fairly quiet. It’s a short walk into town, so very conveniently positioned. The staff were very helpful and responsive, even agreeing to a late check out at short notice which was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to others."
