"As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...

"A shame that a property with so much potential was so poorly operated. The water was not even able to be consumed...in Tasmania!!! I would not recommend this property to stay or dine. Very very disappointing. Thankfully for us it was not our only destination and we look forward to a better experience elsewhere!!!!"

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Great attention to detail. Staff very welcoming. Beautiful evening meal with best venison my husband has ever eaten. Lovely toiletries. Rooms have been designed very cleverly. Good storage. Only 10 minutes from Hobart airport. Richmond village lovely. Wines are beautiful. Definitely will return "
