"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"A lovely home with 3 good-sized bedrooms and a nice open plan kitchen-living-dining area. It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but only a minute's walk from the centre of Ballater.Communication with Mark the host was easy and he was very responsive. Ballater is a beautiful little town with loads of amenities and nearby places to visit. Thoroughly recommend! :-)"

"Super Unterkunft. Alles sehr sauber. Danke für das Willkommenspaket. Im oberen Bad fehlt die Beschriftung für Shampoo etc in der Dusche, im unteren Bad ist der Duschkopf leicht defekt. Eine Beschreibung für die Mülltrennung wäre gut, da man den Text auf den Mülltonnen teilweise nicht mehr lesen kann. Ansonsten alles top."

The cottage was well furnished, very clean and exquisitely appointed with lovely furnishings and good linens. "We wanted self catering accommodation that was not isolated that we can just chill out if we want to and this fits the bill. It is an easy walk into Ballater for shops restaurants etc. very central to explore the local area and there are some great walks. The accommodation is clean and well presented and has everything you need and the owners were helpful and friendly but left you in peace. I would certainly stay again if in the area. "
