This multi-level lodge sits in a clearing of evergreens, offering lovely views of the forest and a wonderfully tranquil setting at any time of year. You'll be less than a mile northeast of the Angel Fire base area and ski lifts, two miles northeast of the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course, and close to hiking trails, Nordic ski trails, fishing streams, and countless opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Beautiful spot and beautiful home. We heard elk bugling every morning, a deer walked through the property and the birds were beautiful. We opted to stay at the house all Sunday instead of going and visiting the town because it was so recharging. Much needed considering my husbands and mine busy, hectic schedules. The check in and check out, by the way, was seemless, easy to follow, and unintrusive. Thank you for not adding more stress to our busy lives, but instead, taking some away!

Awesome!!

This place was perfect and beautiful. Only a 3 minute drive to the lifts, could walk but up hill all the way back. Great location in the woods. Fed the deer right off the porch!! Thanks for making this place feel so comfortable. Will definitely come back!!

Mountain Home

Needs a deep cleaning but Beautiful

This property NEEDS a deep cleaning. All the bathrooms had dead insects in the tub or shower upon arrival. The master shower truly needs deep cleaning. It has an odor and drains slowly. There was a large clump of hair in the shower which suggests it is not cleaned between "rentals". Spotted fresh/new rat poop on the third day of our stay in the master bathroom. There were large spider webs from the back of the couch in the living room to the top of the beautiful ceiling high windows. Lots of dead moths in the living room behind the tables and couch. There were live roaches and moths in both upstairs bathrooms. In the nicer upstairs bathroom, there were hundreds/thousands of baby spiders coming out of the ceiling. There was a starter supply of paper towels, dish soap, and trash bags but it would have been nice to have these items in full supply and not something we needed to purchase or bring. There was a bear on the porch also. The property is nice but really needs deep cleaning and to better stocked with staple items.

Gorgeous Views, Beautiful Home

Tranquility Lodge lived up to its name. Gorgeous home with windows on three sides and beautiful views from all 3 bedrooms. Spacious kitchen, combo dining and den area. We enjoyed family meals and game nights. Lots of wildlife in the area. We felt secluded and enjoyed the beautiful nature all around, yet located near resort and small town. Messages went unanswered prior to the stay. It is better to phone VRBO to communicate.

Family Christmas Vacation

The house is amazing! The location is perfect for staying at the house and enjoying the frequent wildlife visits, or close to the slopes! The house has plenty of rooms and space. It is somewhat off the road so there isn't much traffic or close neighbors. It would have been a 5 star rating, if it was not for the cleanliness of the house. It was not ready until an hour past the check- in time(the cleaning people had arrived 45 mins before check in.......we were in the area driving around and happened to see their arrival time.) The dishwasher was left full of dishes. The living room floor had left over Christmas wrapping under the couches, and red tinsel on the carpet (which made me question if the floor had been vacuumed at all.) When we went to use the towels they all smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to rewash them all before we could use them. I reached out to the management company several times with my concerns about the cleaning company, but never got anything more than "we will look into it and get back with you" which still has not happened. I wanted to contact the owners directly with my concerns because I know it is not their fault and they are strictly using a cleaning company, but I have been unsuccessful in doing so. I do not like leaving negative reviews, especially when the house in itself is beautiful and we loved it aside from the above concerns. We would return to this home again if the cleaning issues (which I am sure they will be) were corrected.

Great House in a Great Location

House has a great layout for 3 couples or 2 couples with kids with 2 masters. 1/2 bath downstairs adds to the convenience.. Big kitchen and living area make it easy to enjoy. Wrap around deck with firepit is a big bonus living space to enjoy.

Incredible Gem

This was an incredible house. Loved it. Will book again. So close to the slopes and all the wildlife. Enjoyed watching the deer from the balcony with early morning coffee in hand.

Cozy and inviting home with great location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The layout is great for a larger family. Three bedrooms with bathrooms adjacent to each. My husband and I stayed down stairs in the master bedroom. This room seems to take on most of the heat for the home. So to compensate, we had to keep the house at 63°. But with the fireplace in the evenings the upstairs was the perfect temperature! With a handful of restaurants, mostly pizza places, we opted to cook our meals at the house. The kitchen provided the basics. Hopefully a few more cooking items will be add to with time. I would like to recommend that cleaning products be provided to the guests. The vacuums I found in the home did a poor job of cleaning so I gave up after the second day. I used the broom I found, but without a dust pan it was had to scoop the trash up. Again, the vacuum was no help. I believe this is something the property manager should be taking care of for the home owner. I hated that I had no way of "tidying up" while we were there, or before we left. Extra trash bags would have been nice. I did contact the property manager a couple of times. I never heard back from her, even when we notified her of our departure. I think this is a lovely home, and the homeowners have done a wonderful job making their visitors feel at home! I have included my "concerns" so the homeowners are getting honest feedback. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Angel Fire! Thank yall blessing others with this opportunity! God bless yall and may His face shine upon you both.

Amazing Christmas Vacay!!

This cabin is absolutely adorable! Cabin was equipped with everything we needed...Christmas Tree Included!!! Our family made some amazing holiday memories this year in Angel Fire!! The driveway to this cabin is an absolute bonus! It is perfect for tubing and sledding! I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit Angel Fire, NM.

Beautiful, quiet mountain getaway!

This is a wonderful spot for a restful and relaxing stay in the mountains. The home is spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor fire-pit on the property as well as the gas one on the back deck. Angel Fire has some lovely hikes and a day trip to Red River and Taos is only about 45 min away. Thank you again for hosting us and welcoming us like family. We will be back!

Amazing Visit

This was a beautiful home with plenty of amenities. Very spacious and very well stocked. Outstanding location and all of us were able to relax in the beautiful setting. Extremely tranquil!
