Mesa -Upper Los Colonias - 5 miles to town of Taos and 14 miles to Taos Ski Valley

Mountain View is a brand new member of Premiere's carefully selected vacation rental properties. "Furnished to the nines" with ultra fine taste - Mountain View proudly shows an array of fine art, upscale furniture and furnishings. It stands unique as one of the very few vacation rental homes to have a pool table.

So named for its panoramic view of Taos Mountain from the Upper los Colonias Mesa between the town of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley. Enjoy this view from the open living area, kitchen, patio, hot tub, several of the bedrooms and the large adobe wall enclosed yard.

Located 4 miles from Taos Plaza, 14 miles to Taos Ski Valley and minutes to hiking trails. Enjoy shopping, restaurants, or hiking, biking, fishing and more in just minutes.

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, one sleeper sofa, Mountain View comfortably sleeps 12 people with plenty of living space left over. An Executive style master wing includes a very spacious bedroom with King bed and large bathroom with double sinks, jet tub, separate walk in shower and steam room. A second master bathroom comes equipped with a tub/shower combo. A third bathroom with shower only is shared between the two guest bedrooms and alcove.

Cooking and entertaining is a pleasure in the custom designed gourmet kitchen with adjacent wet bar. Fully furnished with upscale cookware including 2 coffee makers - one for regular and one for decaf, the outstanding kitchen will delight even the most passionate chef.

At the end of the day guests may star gaze while relaxing in the Hot Tub, play a game of pool by the kiva fireplace in the den/pool room. Sip your favorite beverage on the patio or simply relax by watching a movie or ball game on the 65 inch HD TV in the gracious open living area.

From the time you walk in the front door and say , “Wow!”, to the interesting, but subtle, curved architecture and all of the different amenities, Mountain View will provide you a comfortable, relaxing and pampered vacation with memories you won’t soon forget. The house was very comfortable with nice furniture, beds and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous property

So much space! Every bedroom except one has its own bathroom (one has a steam shower!). The billiards room with a fireplace was a huge hit and the kitchen was to die for. Nicely furnished and plenty of places to spread out and not be in each other’s way. Beds were comfy. Super quiet location

Perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip to Taos. We are 4 couples and one 18-month old. The deciding factor was the dining table for eight and the hot tub and billiards room were a plus. The home was very well supplied w kitchen tools and basics. Great floor plan and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

El Prado Treasure

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely, traditional New Mexico home. We were visiting for a family wedding in Taos and it was perfect for our family. I would have given a 5 star rating for this property, but we had a few issues. These issues were promptly attended to but they did take some time to resolve.

Great place for a group

It was a beautiful house with great views. We had plenty of space for our group. It was a quick drive up to the ski valley and the hot tub was a perfect way to end a great day of skiing.

Beautiful Taos views

The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t cook while there (too many restaurants where we wanted to eat!), but the kitchen would have had everything we needed had we wanted to cook. Plenty of room for our 5 adult and 2 children group. Some of us loved using the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful New Mexico star lit sky at night! Both the home and the property were lovely and we’d definitely choose it again!

Wonderful Property

We loved our stay at Mountain View. The neighborhood is quiet and close to activities. The house was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We especially enjoyed the lovely mountain view from the back patio and watching hummingbirds feed on the garden plants. The house was clean, and the caretaker was very responsive. There were plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked, and all appliances were in good working order. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountain View and will be back!

Lovely visit

My family and I had a great time in this beautiful house. The house is exactly as described. Everyone commented on the beds being very comfortable. The check-in process could have been a tad easier in that the check-in instructions, including key location, could have been provided to us rather than us having to call. It was only a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was a truly lovely visit.

Taos Stay

Our family consisting of 6 adults and two children had a wonderful time at this home. The home was as described with plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet and serene and not too far from town. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes And coffee pot did not work. Those are the only problem. We very much enjoyed ourselves. Everything else worked and loved the space, pool table, hot tub, Thank you!

Great Home for a Group

This home was perfect for a friends ski trip to Toas. We live in Denver and have stayed at our fair share of mountain houses and this one had really unique, hand crafted design elements that we loved. The home was also perfect for entertaining, big dinners, watching football and playing games. All of the beds were comfortable as well. I would highly recommend staying here!
