"Paul was a great host. The lodge was comfortable and perfect for us attending a wedding nearby. The room has a fridge and a microwave, as well as tea and coffee. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep."

"Overall, the hotel is really nice and quite charming. The only thing that I would see was the parking . We had to use the overflow parking which was in a very dark area away from the hotel so it was dark. I did not feel comfortable walking back up to the hotel late at night. also we did upgrade our room to include a bath, but there was no water for the bath, so I was really disappointed in this because it was a lovely feature in the room. "Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided?
My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...
