I’m shocked, saddened and disappointed with your 3-Star review. I understand there were some issues with the new cleaners when I accommodated your early check-in request the day of your arrival on 3/21. Upon your arrival on I asked if everything was satisfactory and let you know there were two complimentary bottles of 90+ rated wine waiting for you...Your response was, "the property looks nice." The following day on 3/22 you indicated there was a problem with the oven, grill and refrigerator. I asked you to forward photos so I could address it appropriately. I agreed the grill and oven should have been cleaned better prior to your arrival and the new cleaners had not done a proper job. However, I was very surprised with your complaint about the condiments in the refrigerator. I did indicate to you that all of the condiments were supposed to be in the refrigerator. I then offered to remedy the situation and have the cleaners come back to clean the grill and the oven or give you monetary compensation sent to you directly through VRBO. You chose to take the money, which I sent immediately. In turn, you thanked me, "for handling the problem correctly". The following day on 3/23 you contacted me regarding your concerns with the leaves on the ground from the oak tree. I checked with the cleaners and they admitted they had accidentally taken the broom and dustpan and improperly swept the leaves. I offered you a secondary monetary compensation, which was sent immediately through VRBO, which you also accepted. I then overnighted a new dustpan and broom to the property which was delivered to the property the following day on 3/24. This property is professionally managed. The hospitality, customer service, cleanliness, and the overall guest the experience are paramount. Any issue or circumstance a guest has is taken seriously and every possible consideration is taken to maintain an excellent guest experience. This property has Eight 5-Star reviews from VRBO and collectively over Thirty-Five 5-Star reviews from three different short-term rental platforms with zero reviews being less than 5-stars. Although you did indicate, “Scott did try to make it right but my vacation was more important that me complaining.” I am very disappointed. Every possible effort, remedy, option and consideration was offered to you in order to mitigate your concerns and complaints, ensure you had an enjoyable stay, and had an excellent guest experience.
