The Space:
Cedar Creek Falls by Tiny Away is nestled in a flat, grassy area in Tamborine Mountain, surrounded by trees and native wildlife like wallabies, kookaburras, tawny frogmouth owls, and many more. Just a short walk away, Cedar Creek Falls by Tiny Away offers stunning scenery and swimming spots, with the peaceful sound of cascading water always nearby.
This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Summer weekends can be busy with tourist traffic. Some vehicles may park on-site under our gardener’s guidance.
Guest Access:
Guests can access our cozy tiny home and the surrounding outdoor areas. Please note that access is restricted near the main house.

Cedar Creek Falls by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful and adventurous Tamborine Mountain, Queensland. Just a short walk to Cedar Creek Falls and close to Tamborine Mountain National Park, it's the perfect escape into nature.
Tamborine Village is only 7 minutes away, offering cafes, wineries, and essentials. Thunderbird Park is just up the hill, and the Rainforest Skywalk is only 4 minutes away. The Gold Coast is a convenient 45-minute drive.
Getting Around:
By car:
- From Gold Coast: 38 km (approx. 44 minutes)
- From Brisbane: 67.5 km (approx. 59 minutes)
- Nearest town (Tamborine Mountain): 6.3 km (approx. 11 minutes, 2WD accessible)
By public transport:
- There is no public transportation available on the mountain.

- No smoking inside the tiny home. Outdoor smoking allowed 20m away
- We have 4 Chihuahuas and 1 Border Collie—friendly and always supervised
- In addition, we also like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Expect abundant wildlife like wallabies, peacocks and peahens, scrub turkeys, tawny frogmouth owls, kookaburras, corellas, king parrots, rosellas, pale-headed rosellas, and more.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
