This was just perfect for our family of 4! Willy was great and communicated with us before the trip setting up shuttles and a golf cart while we were there! The villa is on a cute quiet property with a nice pool and loungers. The VRBo is perfectly located to town where you could walk or we used a golf cart also. We loved it and will definitely come again!

Great choice for families staying in Tamarindo. It’s a spacious condo with everything you need, very well maintained. We got a tour as soon as we arrived and the property manager was very helpful. I am a picky traveler and was happy that they had super fluffy bath towels (with extra spares), and everything you need in the kitchen. Location was ideal. It was quiet but very walkable to restaurants and the main town. The pool was so relaxing! And it was literally a two-minute walk to the beach, which is across the street via a public walkway. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

We loved the location of this property! Just a short walk to the beach. The pool and patio were favorite spots for our family to be together. If you are lucky, you will see monkeys from the deck. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent communication with the property owner and manager. The condo was exactly as described. Very clean, stocked with what we needed. Short walk to the beach. We found the surfing to be better towards the north end of the beach, but the entire beach was beautiful. We loved it stay!

This property is just as advertised. Everything you need is there. If it matters (it does for us) the dinnerware, cutlery and wine glasses even matched. Location is excellent, 50 meters from the beach access, close enough to the attractions that you can walk yet far enough away from the noise and hustle. Evenings were quiet so you can enjoy sitting out to wind the day down.Syd and Lynn were absolutely amazing hosts. I don’t think you could find nicer people who actually care that your stay is everything you wished for. Fortunately for us they were there at another of their properties while we were there so we had the pleasure of meeting them. We had an issue with the bbq and they said we would have a new the following day, it was delivered by 1:00 PM and Syd was there to ensure we were happy. Syd & Lynn invited our family to their penthouse the following night to have a cocktail and watch the sunset which was utterly amazing. The hospitality was second to none and the penthouse……. WOW!!!If ever you are considering Tamarindo you cannot go wrong with this property, absolutely awesome!Regarding the hosts, second to none!!

Just perfect

This place is absolutely perfect. Right across the street from the beach, walk straight into a quiet section of the beach and perfect waves for surfing or boogie board (grab a lesson right when you enter the beach or rent some boards just a short walk down) with this location you avoid most of the crowds and sales but all the benefits of a beautiful beach. Short walk into town but driving is fine too. We were cringing over the food prices so we went to the small Amero Mercado and got rotisserie chickens, fruit, and drinks to feed everyone on a budget. We paid in us dollars and got CR change (avoided an ATM fee) The house has everything you need and the service was more than I expected. Jimmy(?) checked in with us upon arrival, gave suggestions, made accommodations. I really wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it was perfection. Service was above average. Very clean, tons of supplies. Loved the place.

Perfect family vacation in beautiful Tamarindo

We’re just back from an amazing week in Tamarindo, having enjoyed a lovely family vacation staying at Syd and Lynne’s beautiful place in Tamarindo. The location was ideal, with the beach just a quick walk across the street and shops and restaurants a nearby walk away. It was easy to get around by Uber for those in our group that couldn’t walk as far. We spent a lot of time lounging by the lovely pool, when we weren’t at the beach. We also arranged a couple of tours with the help of Willy, the property manager, and really enjoyed Our outings. The unit where we stayed was perfect for our family of 6 (3kids plus grandma) - comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We had everything we needed and when we had questions or an unexpected need, Willy was super responsive to our texts. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to family and friends. It was perfect!

Beautiful villa in Tamarindo

The villa is located ideally…easy to access the beach and all amenities in Tamarindo. We didn’t rent a vehicle and found it easy to walk where we wanted to go. The villa itself is spectacular- the perfect space for our family. Willy, the property manager arranged for pick up from the airport and then met us when we arrived. He was thorough in his explanation of the property. Additionally, dealing with Syd, the owner of the property went smoothly- very accommodating of our travel changes. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fabulous property and location

Across the street from the beach, next door to a fabulous new bakery and restaurant (Sofia Mediterranean), great pool on site and the layout of the villa was perfect. Our bedroom was connected via French door to another bedroom that our small children stayed in. It gave us privacy while also giving me the chance to check on the kids whenever I wanted. Great property with a great location!

We had a wonderful time at the villa, only issue we had was the power went out on the last night which was not any fault of the owners. We emailed Willie the next day and he was getting it fixed but we had already checked out . Great location and great host.

Fantastic place!

We had a fantastic stay, the unit was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and the pool area was perfect. This is such a great location, walking distance to the beach and a short golf cart ride to town. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay!

We just spent 2 weeks at Casa Blanca 5 and it was an incredible time. The place was clean, well stocked with small appliances and utensils, and in the most ideal location in Tamarindo! We loved that it was a bit outside the busy town but close enough for daily walks to grab groceries, etc. It was about a 2-3 minute walk to Tamarindo beach in an area that was perfect for swimming and beginner surfing. The grounds were well maintained and attracted many birds which we all enjoyed watching from our patio. The howler monkeys were also frequently nearby! Willy (property manager), Syd and Lyn (hosts) were incredibly responsive prior to and during our trip. We are already planning our return to Casa Blanca 5 as we can't wait to return to this slice of paradise!

Great stay for a week

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Well located, lots of restaurants nearby, especially next door for breakfast. Villa very well appointed, particularly if you wish to self cater. Great laundry facilities which were very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Incredible location- clean, comfortable and beautiful

This was our first time to Tamarindo and the location of this villa can’t be beat for those who want to enjoy Tamarindo day/ night then retreat back to the peace and quiet. Just a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you are going. Willie arranged transportation for us from the airport and we did not rent a golf cart but we were the only ones so you may want to consider that. Favorite spots we discovered are Tabu for breakfast and happy hour, Tropic Tamarindo for a quiet but incredible Costa Rican dinner(presentation was insane as was the food but fairly priced). El Sapo pizza is great. Pool is nice and cleaned daily. The smallest room bed is softer but we found the other two beds to be extra, extra firm. Over all this condo was very much as advertised. Only suggestions to owners is to add some oven mitts, and some plastic or pool safe beverage containers so you can take beverages by the pool. Willie was great and can schedule whatever you need. Grocery stores are close especially with car or golf cart so I wouldn’t recommend the concierge grocery service just for cost and making sure you get what you want. Thank you to Willy and the owners for a fantastic family vacation. Again, phenomenal location and good value.
